Happy 2020!
We have been busy over the past few months working on a new website. The new system will allow us to involve our members in a whole new way. Built on a platform specific to Professional Trade Associations the new site will allow us to not only keep track of the daily tasks such as membership fees, news and job postings easier but will also allow our members to interact with one another in many new ways.
During the transition we will be doing all of the hard work to move the membership data across. We will require members to reply to a confirmation email with regards to data collection and processing. During this time we would also like to collect a bit more information (if you are willing of course) regarding your interests and skills as this will allow us to create a very detailed membership database that all members can search when looking for crew, designers, makers etc for their own productions, festivals and venues. This data will only be available to members, no third parties will be able to access it.
Our survey is still live and the data coming in is proving extremely useful. We will need to close this soon however, so if you have not already then please do take 3-4mins to fill it out here. We will share all of the results in March.
We would like to represent the membership in the best way possible so if you have any suggestions for things you would like to see added into the new system then please get in touch at info@aist.ie and mark your email subject as “Website Suggestion”.
