The Association of Irish Stage Technicians was formed in June 2005 as a representative group for those working in a technical or production capacity in the theatre, music and corporate entertainment worlds in Ireland. The primary objectives of the AIST are to promote and improve the welfare of its membership.
- AIMS
- To standardise Health and Safety practice throughout the industry and seek representation on any statutory bodies with responsibility for the implementation of same.
- To improve working conditions through training and information.
- To provide training courses in order to improve working practices throughout the entertainment industry.
Membership is open to anybody working in the entertainment industry in the island of Ireland.
Yearly subscription is 20 Euro Full, 10 Euro Student and 100 Euro Corporate. This is a minimum if you want to pay more to support the A.I.S.T please do.
