A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd. LED for Theatre & Entertainment Lighting events

A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd have organized 3 events around the country showcasing some LED units and giving out information on the technologies available.

Below is some information from Aaron who organized the events. For any more information please contact him direct.

Cork2:30PM  Cork Opera House,  Tuesday October 10th.

Portlaoise – 10:30AM  Dunamaise Arts Centre,  Wednesday October 11th

Galway – 10:30AM  Black Box Theatre,  Thursday October 12

The aim is to explain and show the differences between LED lighting products vs generic Theatre lighting.  I have lots of customers (professional & amateur) that are interested in LED technology and are talking about it, but haven’t yet bought any – this might be because of a budget, or a lack of knowledge and understanding about the products or not knowing which products/brands to look at.  We hope that this session will answer any questions that you might have

We will discuss these topics:

LED Basics:
LED Luminaires: The progression of LED lighting and the important parts of an LED fixture…
Developments: Heat and Optics / Basic types of LED luminaires / LED myths / What the LED measurements on specs mean
LED Applications: Practical demonstration of LED Fixtures

These events are free of charge and are an open invitation for anyone to attend.  And the aim is NOT about selling products so don’t worry this is about showing the differences between two different technologies

The demo’s will consist of:

  • LED PAR vs 1kW Tungsten Par
  • LED Ellipsoidal vs 750W Source 4
  • LED Fresnel vs 1kW Tungsten Fresnel
  • LED Washlight
  • LED Cyc lights
  • LED House Lights
  • LED Moving Spot/Profile

If you are based in Dublin and would like a demo I have some availability on Friday 13th, please contact me directly for a meeting.

email aaron.cripps@ac-et.com or call 087 460 0200 if you have an questions

You are more than welcome to invite industry colleagues along, other local technical Managers and anyone else that you think might be interested.  If you can confirm your interest, that would be a start.
